What this covers
This Privacy Notice explains what Uncap, Inc. (“Uncap”, “we”) collects when you visit uncap.com, submit a quote or Blueprint request, or otherwise interact with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to ask us to change or delete it.
Information you give us
- Quote requests: name, email, phone, website, current platform, ERP, services you're interested in, revenue and budget range, and any message you add.
- The Blueprint quiz: name, email, phone, website, company, role, current platform, ERP details, pain points, goals, timeline, and any message you add.
- The contact form: name, email, company, and your message.
- Gated content (e.g. accelerator pages): name, email, phone, and company, so we can send you access.
Information we collect automatically
When you submit a form, we also capture your IP address and the approximate location Cloudflare derives from it (city, region, country), and the page you were on. We use this for spam and fraud prevention, and it's included in the lead record our team works from. Standard request metadata (browser, referrer, pages visited) is also logged for security and site analytics.
If you arrive via a paid ad or a link with tracking parameters (for
example a utm_source or gclid value), we
store that on your device for up to 90 days so we can tell which
channel a request came from. We only capture a fixed, known list of
these parameters, nothing else from the URL.
Cookies and similar technology
uncap.com itself does not set a tracking cookie for visitors. The
analytics and advertising tools described below set their own
cookies once they load (for example Google's _ga or
Meta's _fbp); those are governed by each vendor's own
policy. The one cookie our own code sets is a session cookie for
signed-in staff on our admin dashboard, not for site visitors.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic and which pages people visit, including a small number of specific actions (search, quote submitted, Blueprint started, Blueprint fit call booked). This runs on every page and isn't gated behind a cookie banner today.
We also use Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to a quote request or a Blueprint booking, and to show relevant ads to people who've already visited us. When you submit a quote or the Blueprint quiz, your name, email, and phone are shared with Google Ads as part of that measurement (Google calls this Enhanced Conversions; the match is done by Google, not visible to other advertisers).
Your choice: if your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it for Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn: none of those three load or receive any data. GPC does not currently turn off Google Analytics; if you'd rather it not run at all, a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics (widely available) will do that regardless of our settings.
How we use it
- To respond to quote requests, run the Blueprint process, and deliver engagements you've asked for.
- To send transactional messages (confirmations, scheduling, project updates) related to a request or engagement you started. A copy of quote, Blueprint, and contact-form confirmations also goes to the Uncap team members handling your request.
- To measure which marketing channels work, per the analytics and advertising section above.
- To improve uncap.com, our services, and our security posture.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data to train general-purpose AI models.
Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers we use to run the business and the tools described above: Attio (our CRM, which holds the full detail of a quote or Blueprint request), Cloudflare (hosting, email delivery, bot protection, video hosting), Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta and LinkedIn (advertising, only when a Global Privacy Control signal isn't present), and Shopify (only if you start a checkout from our site, at which point Shopify's own checkout collects your order details directly, not us). Each is bound by its own data processing terms, and none are permitted to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests, Blueprint submissions, and gated-content signups for as long as it's useful to the relationship, and we haven't yet automated a fixed deletion schedule for them. If you'd like your record deleted sooner, email us and we'll do it by hand, no reason required.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing hey@uncap.com. If you're a resident of the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with additional rights (e.g. to object to processing, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority), the same address reaches the team that handles those requests. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as a valid opt-out request for the advertising uses described above.
Children's privacy
uncap.com is a business site for companies evaluating ecommerce services. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We host on Cloudflare, encrypt traffic with TLS, store secrets in managed secret stores, and apply least-privilege access controls. No system is unbreakable; if we believe your data has been affected by an incident, we will notify you in line with applicable law.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice. We will update the “Effective” date above when we do. Material changes will be flagged on this page or by email.
