Denis is the founder and CEO of Uncap, a Chicago-based Shopify Platinum Partner that builds unified commerce for operator-led manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers. He has led more than 380 platform migrations since founding the agency in 2013.

Denis founded Uncap in 2013 with a simple conviction: the operators who actually run manufacturing, distribution, and wholesale businesses deserve commerce technology built around how they work, not the other way around. More than a decade and 380-plus migrations later, that conviction still drives the work. As founder and CEO, Denis leads solutions and strategy at Uncap, a Shopify Platinum Partner focused on unified commerce for B2B. His specialty is the hard part most agencies avoid: connecting Shopify to the ERPs that real operators depend on, from Epicor P21 and Kinetic to Eclipse and BisTrack, so that quoting, ordering, inventory, and fulfillment all speak the same language. The goal is never technology for its own sake. It is fewer manual steps, faster orders, and a buying experience that feels effortless to the customer. Denis writes about what he sees from inside hundreds of B2B commerce projects: where migrations go wrong, how operator-led companies should think about Shopify, and what unified commerce actually looks like in practice. He holds dual US and Albanian citizenship, is raising a young family in the Chicago area, and approaches the business the way he approaches everything, as a craftsman who cares about the details and a partner rather than a vendor.
